In this episode, I talk to Athena McDowall, licensed social worker, military veteran, Walk Coordinator for the Philadelphia NEDA Walk, ambassador for the Eating Disorder Coalition, and volunteer for SeaWaves Inc. about eating disorders in the military and what needs to happen in order to create a healthier culture in the armed forces. We'll talk about the things that we saw that perpetuated disordered eating in the military and what resources need to be available to our fellow brothers and sisters-in-arms to set them up for a better relationship with their bodies.
